To Whom It May Concern:

I had the pleasure of working with Moataz for over six years at the Motorola San Jose Design Center (a.k.a. Smartcard Solutions) in San Jose. I worked with Moataz on several projects and in different capacities over the course of that time. All of the projects were completed successfully and ahead of schedule. I can thank Moataz for most of those successes.

When Moataz was writing user manuals for my product releases, he always could be depended upon to correctly interpret the incomplete and disorganized information I often gave him. He did this consistently without complaint or need for supervision.

Moataz assisted me greatly during a time at Motorola where many popular older products needed to be tested for the first time for EMI Emissions, EMI Susceptibility, and Safety Compliance. There were literally pounds of compliance documents from many countries that needed to be read, understood, and applied to our products. While I was very busy with some of the electronic design changes necessary to make our products compliant, Moataz handled compliance requirements, planning, scheduling, logistics, test lab approvals, product documentation, and final compliance reports. It was a tremendous amount of work at a critical time when revenue could have been affected by delayed customer shipments.

After Moataz was promoted to Compliance Engineering Manager at Motorola, I again worked with him and his department on several compliance issues. His people were motivated, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Like Moataz, they provided excellent compliance services within the project schedule. During that time, I only heard praise from the Compliance Group regarding their boss, Moataz. I thought he must be a good manager to work for.

I can, without reservation, recommend Moataz for management positions in Compliance Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, or nearly any position that requires a blend of people skills, communications, technical knowledge, planning, and budgeting. Moataz Drebika would be a strong asset to any prospective employer.

Sincerely, Senior Electrical Engineer
